Break time aboard the rig. Tom reads out questions for a trivia quiz.
Ceefax once again proves his mettle. |
During another downtime, Hilary looks up in amazement as Tessa starts playing the
breakroom's electric piano. |
With their regular chef Cinders away, the crew tries to find an adequate replacement.
Terry has persuaded Tessa to give it a try, not realizing that she embellished
her resume and is not actually an experienced cook. Here the crew
samples her attempt, with Hilary struggling to keep from giggling as Village
tries the food. |
Later, back in their cabin, Hilary sets aside her reading in order to comfort Tessa
about her failed stint as cook. |
Hilary mentions that Village's father is a chef in an Italian restaurant. Tessa
responds gleefully to this, rushing off to tell Terry she has the perfect
suggestion for the next cook. |
Hilary and Ian share a nice moment on deck. They learn that they have a common
interest in hillwalking. Ian suggests that perhaps next time they might
go together. Nothing is set in stone, though, and they agree to consider
it. |
Gearing up for a helicopter trip, Ceefax accidentally hits his head against Hilary's
rear as he straightens up. |
Hilary learns a bit more about the trivia competition that she and Ceefax are flying
to another rig to participate in. It seems that last time out, Ceefax
lost to the other rig's champion, Joe 90. Ceefax is determined to win this
time, and the crew, who all stand to gain 50 quid each if he does, are behind
him all the way. |

Hilary and Ceefax are taunted by Joe 90, Condor's trivia champion. |
Round One, and Hilary answers the questions. Ceefax freezes and is unable to
answer anything. They are successful, however, and make it to Round Two. |
Hilary protests as Chris suggests dumping Ceefax for Round Two, during which only
one member of each team can participate. |
Hilary feels better as wiser heads prevail and Ceefax goes to do battle in Round
Two. |
In the tie-breaking round, Davey and Hilary smell victory as Joe 90 can only name
six of the Seven Dwarfs. |
Hilary and Davey react triumphantly as Ceefax provides the winning answer, "Bashful". |
A somber moment as the wife of the late mechanic Charlie comes aboard and scatters
her husbands ashes into the sea from the side of the Osprey Explorer. |
